02Independence

We charge only for engineering and do not earn from cloud consumption.

The provider you choose and your cloud spend do not affect our recommendations. Every contract we sign includes this boundary.
Independence statement

What we do

  • Work as an independent technical service provider in cloud accounts that you own.
  • Plan, migrate, build and operate, and charge you only for our own services.
  • Recommend platforms and purchase options on technical and cost grounds.
  • Hand back every document, script and configuration we produce.

What we never do

  • Resell or distribute cloud services, or take a margin on your cloud bill.
  • Pay cloud providers on your behalf or issue invoices for cloud resources.
  • Offer white-label cloud, pooled resources, consolidated billing or a cloud uptime SLA of our own.
  • Claim partner tiers, certifications or provider discounts that we do not hold.
You pay your cloud provider directly. Contracts and invoices for cloud resources stay between you and your provider. Our contracts and invoices cover only our services. We currently have no reseller or partner agreement with any provider and receive no commissions or referral fees. If any of this changes, we will tell you in writing before making any recommendation.

03Who we work with

For teams running workloads across borders.

Typical clients are mid-sized, engineering-led companies with one to three clouds and no large in-house operations team.

Games and internet companies expanding abroad

Launching regions in Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Europe or the Americas, while keeping a China footprint.

Mid-sized companies going global

Cross-border e-commerce, SaaS and manufacturers with overseas plants that need a clean multi-region setup.

Companies in Tianjin and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region

Moving systems to cloud, consolidating environments, or adding operations support to an existing estate.

Small and mid-sized companies outside China

We provide senior cloud engineering remotely to teams in Asia, Latin America and Europe for non-sensitive projects.

04How it runs

How an engagement runs.

Every engagement follows the same four steps, regardless of size.
  1. 01

    Free 30-minute introductory call

We learn what you run, where it runs and what is not working. You learn who would do the work and how we would scope it.

  2. 02

    Written scope and price

A fixed-scope proposal or statement of work states the deliverables, acceptance criteria, timeline and published price for that scope.

  3. 03

    Delivery in your accounts

We use delegated roles that you grant and can revoke. We send weekly written status updates, and every change is linked to a ticket.

  4. 04

    Handover or ongoing operations

We return all documents, code and runbooks. You can continue with uloog Managed Cloud or operate the environment yourselves.

05Two entry points

Global clients and companies in China, with terms set for each location.

The same team works to the same standards. We set the contract, currency, language and expectations for your location.

Company outside mainland China

USD contracts are with OPA (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. We deliver remotely in English or Chinese.

  • Remote delivery from China (UTC+8)
  • Your data stays in your accounts and regions
  • Review our engagement limits first

Company in mainland China

For CNY contracts, we issue VAT invoices (fapiao) for our service fees. We work in Chinese or English and can work on-site in Tianjin and Beijing by arrangement.

  • 中文 or English, your choice
  • Cloud fees stay between you and the provider
  • Compliance responsibilities clearly assigned
