How we engage

Terms for clients outside mainland China and companies in mainland China.

The same team and standards apply to both tracks. Contract currency, preferred language, cross-border arrangements and the work we can commit to from Tianjin differ.

01Track A

Companies outside mainland China

For companies headquartered or contracting outside mainland China, including overseas subsidiaries of Chinese groups.
Contracting entity
OPA (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd.
Currency
USD. We invoice in USD, and you pay by international bank transfer.
Language
English or Chinese for written communication and meetings.
Delivery
Remote delivery from mainland China. We do not offer on-site work outside Tianjin and Beijing at this time.
Working hours
09:00-18:00 UTC+8, Monday to Friday. We overlap with Asia-Pacific, partly with Europe and to a limited extent with the Americas.
Your data
Your data remains in your accounts and regions. We do not export it by default.
  • Our engineers access your environment remotely from mainland China through delegated roles that you control. Tell us at the outset if your policies restrict access from specific countries.
  • For EU or UK clients, we take on work that does not require personal data access, or work where a data-processing agreement with appropriate transfer safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and a transfer assessment, is in place before access.
  • Contracts follow the governing law stated in the agreement. We can propose terms or discuss your standard paper.

02Track B

Companies in mainland China

For companies registered in mainland China, including those expanding overseas and foreign-invested enterprises.
Contracting entity
欧帕(天津)科技有限公司 (OPA (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd.)
Currency
CNY. We issue VAT invoices (fapiao) for our service fees.
Language
Chinese or English.
Delivery
Remote by default. We can arrange on-site work in Tianjin and Beijing.
Working hours
09:00-18:00 China Standard Time, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Cloud editions
China and international editions of the platforms we support. Your accounts and contracts remain in your name.
  • Compliance duties, including MLPS (Dengbao) grading and filing, critical information infrastructure duties and statutory incident reporting, remain with you as the operator. We provide technical implementation, evidence and support to your assessor.
  • When we operate systems that hold personal information, we follow only your documented instructions under a data-processing agreement.
  • This website is hosted outside mainland China. If you submit the contact form from mainland China, you must separately consent to that storage. If you do not wish to consent, write to our registered address.

03Engagement limits

Work outside our scope.

We list these limits to avoid wasting either side’s time on work we would decline.
  • US federal, defense or government cloud work and related supply chains; projects involving US government-related data or bulk sensitive personal data of US persons.
  • Requests for cloud resources, bandwidth, IDC or CDN capacity in our name. We are not a telecom or cloud operator.
  • Remote privileged operations for critical information infrastructure operators at this time.
  • Labor dispatch or staff augmentation where people work under your day-to-day direction.
  • EU projects requiring personal data access without an agreed transfer mechanism.
  • Generative-AI services for you or your end users.

04From inquiry to contract

After you contact us.

The process is the same for both tracks.
  1. 01

    Reply within one business day

The reply comes from the team that would scope and deliver the work, in the language you chose, rather than from an automated responder.

  2. 02

    Introductory call

The call lasts 30 minutes. We may suggest a mutual NDA before sharing details.

  3. 03

    Scope and quote

The written scope lists the deliverables, timeline and price. Standard scopes use published prices.

  4. 04

    Contract

A master services agreement plus a statement of work (SOW) or managed-service order, with data-processing terms where needed.

  5. 05

    Kickoff

We set up access through delegated roles and agree named contacts and escalation paths.

05Communication

How we communicate during the work.

  • Use your chosen shared channel (email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Feishu, DingTalk or WeCom). We record every change and incident in our ticketing system.
  • Weekly written status for projects; monthly reports for managed services.
  • Named escalation contacts for both sides, included in the order.

Choose the appropriate track and tell us about your cloud environment.

If you are unsure which track applies, for example, a Chinese group with an overseas subsidiary, choose either. We will confirm in our reply.
