What we collect

Required: company location, inquiry type, name, work email, company, country or region, preferred reply language, your message.
Optional: role, phone or WeChat ID, platforms used, timeline, plan of interest.
Recorded automatically: your consent choices and notice versions, submission time and page, campaign parameters and referring website if present, and a keyed hash of your IP address for abuse prevention.

Why

To answer your inquiry, assess whether we can help, and prepare and negotiate a proposal or contract. Marketing emails are sent only if you tick the separate, optional marketing box.

Where it is stored

Your inquiry is stored with our hosting provider, Butterfly Effect Pte. Ltd. (Manus), Singapore, in Singapore and/or the United States. Our staff access it from mainland China. If your company is in mainland China, your separate consent to this cross-border transfer is required to submit the form; if you do not give it, you can write to us by post instead.

How long

Up to 24 months after our last exchange if no contract follows; 30 days for spam. If a contract follows, we retain it for the contract term and any period required by law.

Cross-border consent (mainland China only, required): “I separately consent to my personal information being transferred to and stored on servers outside mainland China (Singapore and/or the United States) for the purposes described in the Inquiry Form Notice.”

Marketing (optional, unticked by default): “Optional: send me occasional emails about uloog services, prices and technical notes. I can unsubscribe at any time.”
